It might be the way your sub is wired to your receiver. I would start with the sub wire( the plug going from the receiver to the sub)

Please try again later.Sounds like a grounding problem, check your connections or mabey picking up cross noise from not using shielded cables or wiring try separate wiring from other sources last try another electric socket where you plug it in , hope this helps if not return it
