• I’ve had no problems setting this up with my gear. Both my Samsung TV remote and my Apple TV remote operate the sound bar without issue.

• Ours does not; we use the remote that comes with the sound bar. Having said that, we don’t have a smart TV. Maybe it would sync if we did.
