Not an employee but my guess is that the web site is incorrect which suks because that is one of the reasons I purchased this particular soundbar over others. I just asked the same question. I saved (printed) the polk soundbar warranty as listed on Bestbuys web page in case I have any issues beyond one year. I dont believe that anyone at Bestbuy monitors these posts.
