Yes, if the impedance is anywhere in between the minumum and max amount on the receiver, for examples i have a new receiver coming, the impedance is 4 to 16 ohms and my speakers range from 4 to 8 ohms of impedance, watts wise if your receiver supports more watts than what the speakers can handle then youll be fine if you keep the volume low or mid, turn the volume too high and youll blow the speakers.
