  • QuestionHow are these better than the Polk XT70 model? The XT70 has 2 drivers and 2 woofers and still hi-res sound.

    • Answer Hello, While the XT70 speakers are excellent, the ES50 have some updated technology that can provide an amazing soundstage. The ES50 uses the Dynamic Balance cone drivers which delivers precise low end sound output, paired with Power Port technology to enhance the bass response. The Cabinet is made from Non-resonant MDF to cut down on resonant frequencies that may occur, and the tweeter features some mechanical updates to provide clearer high resolution sound. The ES50 would be a fine upgrade for any sound system.

    • Answer Hello, As with most passive speakers, the two binding posts on the rear panel of the Signature Elite ES50 speakers are where the speaker cable from the amplifier or receiver attaches.
