• A person can mount it on the wall..I purchased a stand for my 55” tv and placed the speaker underneath it...it looks good and the sound is fine...

• Can't recall offhand but it's less than 16". When I mounted I put one in a stud and the other in a heavy anchor in drywall. Worked like a charm. Of you get two heavy drywall anchors you can mount wherever you want, just be careful when installing the anchors.

• It's over 16 inches, If I recall it was close to 19 inches the speaker is light enough that mounting it to drywall is not an concern
