• I ordered one of my pairs for that exact use - back speakers for surround. Sounds great. I ordered a second pair for my front speakers to match up the sound. That made it even more impressive - even to me (sound guru). Enjoy!

• Yes you can use them anyway you want as long as they are connected to a AV receiver
