We recommend the Voyager 5200 UC version, as it is designed to ensure PC connectivity and provides optimal performance with most known soft phones and conference apps. The included USB dongle on this version, makes for a much clearer and consistent user experience. Without the Poly BT600 USB Bluetooth adapter, PC/MAC Bluetooth systems do not typically provide capability to use the call control from the earpiece. Calls must be managed from the PC/MAC GUI and some of the buttons on the speakerphone do not function, providing a poor user experience. For more details on the UC version: shorturl.at/bvEGP. For further assistance, don't hesitate to contact our Customer Care Team at: 1 888 248 4143 or 1 916 928 7561 Pairing the headset to the included Poly BT600 USB Bluetooth adapter, rather than pairing directly to the PC/MAC via native Bluetooth, makes for a much clearer and consistent user experience. Without the Poly BT600 USB Bluetooth adapter, PC/MAC Bluetooth systems do not typically provide capability to use the call control from the headset itself. Calls must be managed from the PC/MAC GUI and some of the buttons on the headset may not. Consequently, this provides a poor user experience. Additionally, the USB Bluetooth adapter also functions as an audio processor, which assures the best audio experience through wideband audio support—providing the highest voice quality. If connected directly to the PC/MAC via native Bluetooth, wideband audio is not possible.
