Yes, mine does a good job. I use outlook sync'd with my phone, and it pulls the names or companies from there. it pronounces most callers quite well.

Yes, if you allow access to your contacts it will announce who is calling on incoming calls.

This headset needs to sync to your phone contacts. If the incoming call is from a number in your contacts then the name of the contact in your phone is read to you in the headset. If it is a number that is not in your contacts then the headset just states "Incoming Call, Answer or Ignore". I hope this helps
