“does this headset work for using it as a microphone while doing remote instruction from my laptop most of the reviews talk about using it for phone use but I doubt I will be using it much for that purpose. I need to hear n be heard”

Hi Dave. If you are interested in a headset to voice dictate, then we recommend you to see our Voyager 5200 UC version as it is intended to ensure PC/Laptop connectivity. The standard version is mainly recommended for cell phones and tablets. As for doing remote instruction, as long as the program is able to detect the BT600 (USB adapter included with the UC version) and selected as default under Playback and recording devices, it should work. NO IT DOESNT. it’s what I bought it for, and the promised me it would work that way and it DOES NOT.
