“I currently have a Plantronics Voyager Legend UC that connects to my work laptop via Plantronics Hub and a dongle. I use this for Skype and Google Meet calls via my laptop. Any reason I wouldn't be able to do the same with this headset?”

You can. I connect it to my laptop via bluetooth. It does have the docking connector.

The Voyager 5220 might not provide you its optimal performance with the BT300 dongle. The BT600 is the USB adapter designed to work with some models like the Voyager 5220. This is why we recommend you to get the Voyager 5200 UC version which includes the BT600 USB adapter. We hope you will find this information useful.
