One of the things it’s good for is, It helps with not having your phone slip out of your hands and you have a better grasp of the device. Specially for the larger phones that if your hand isn’t big enough to use device single handed, pop sockets will be your new best friend. Depending on where you place the pop socket on your phone, it can also serve as a phone stand! I have also heard people wrap their headphones around them so you can always have and carry your headphones with ya! Hope this was somewhat helpful!
