Hello Ginny, The reason your vehicle is not listed to accept a Double D.I.N. size radio is that the height of the dashboard area for the radio is not quite as tall as a the body of most Double D.I.N. size radios. However with the use of a vehicle specific installation kit to match the opening of the dashboard, a Standard D.I.N. size radio will easily fit. However I did find a couple types of installation mount brackets online that claim to make it possible to mount a Double D.I.N. radio into your 2004 Pacifica. I recommend taking your vehicle to an authorized retailer who performs quality installations to double check the fit and finish of a Double D.I.N. radio into your vehicle.
