A:Answer There are usually 3 main power wires connected to the monitors. (Yellow = Constant positive +12 Volts, Red = Switched +12 Volts, & Black = Ground). Depending on the vehicle, these wires may need to be extended to be connected to the vehicle's radio wiring or fuse panel.
The standard rout for these wires are through the holes in the fabric around the head rest mount posts enter the top of the back rest of the seat. Then between the fabric and the main back rest, down to the bottom of the back rest and out and away from the seat rails.
Most qualified installation techs. can make the wiring look like it's part of the original vehicles wiring.
