- Answer This charger is compatible. However, the USB port only charges another device, it would not allow you to run a wireless mouse, or pull files off of a USB stick.

- Answer Sorry I will not be much help. I only ordered this as it was compatible with my Surface Pro 3. I did not even know or look for any other qualities such as speed of charging. This looked the one that I originally got on purchase of the Pro which had broken
