It's not meant to be used to charge the Switch. If you tried, it would probably charge really slowly.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, this will unfortunately NOT work for you. The switch requires 15 volts @ 2.6amps in order for it to work correctly and charge it. This charger only does 5 volts @ 1.5 amps which is enough to charge things like joycons with the charging grip or pro controllers. Hope this info helps.
