Does this controller also work on the WiiU? null

No, the controller is not compatible with the Wii U.

To be honest with you, I don't think it works on a Wii U just because it says it is compatible with the Nintendo Switch but I do have a Wii but I don't think it will work on a Wii U sorry about that.
