You can unplug the controller when this happens and then replay it in and wait 5 seconds. That will be a short fix and every time you play a game you may need to do it again. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try another USB port on your PC. Could be a bad port. Also, google an xbox controller tester and see if it behaves that way (I use HTML5 Gamepad tester). Failing that, you may have a bad unit. Consider returning.
