Yes. Be careful and make sure you buy a heat resistant counter mat. It tends to get hot around it. And place where there is lots of ventilation around. I had placed mine near my fridge, and it was causing fridge to bend inward on the side. Until I heard popping sounds coming from my kitchen, and looking at the side of the fridge, then I noticed the indentation that the grill was causing on the side of the fridge. Also, the heat may damage the wall around it so be cautious.

I bought a microwave cart and placed it in a more ventilated area for ease.

It will become warm to the touch and we recommend allowing 5 inches of space between the unit and walls, cabinets and other appliances while it is in use.
