You can play private game with few bots. It’s not that great good for practice. Boring after awhile. No story. Made for Online multiplayer

It has to be played online but there is a chance that they might add some sort of offline play.

you can play offline against the standard AI, but most of the trophies are for online play. There isn't a campaign. Also, if you play with just yourself, you won't have the other characters in the game. For example, if you play as a fire team member, there won't be an AI Predator in the match hunting you down.

It is a multiplayer online game. The only thing you can play offline is the tutorial as the Predator. There is no story mode. You need a PS4 subscription to play online.

The Beta needed to be online as on the PC and PS4 version players had to be matched. You will not last very long playing on your own.
