Good morning, We don't recommend placing the unit outdoors, unless you can ensure that the temperature is does not go higher than 95 degrees F or lower than 50 degrees F. Having a consistent temperature in this range will prevent the compressor and fan from over working to maintain a constant internal temperature. Thank you,
