I hope they come back to get your old one but that was good advice I wish I had known about. I used boxes with ice around all the food I removed from freezer and fridge then freaked out when I found out how long it would take for new fridge to be truly functional. I am praying known of the stuff I had sitting out was sitting out too long.

I don't see a question asked. If you requested the old unit to be hauled away, that is what they should have done.
