QuestionDo we required to have a iFit membership to use the treadmill ? I want very basic workout and want to control manually. can I do it without taking iFit membership ?

- Answer The machine has 20 preset workouts....NONE really accessible.Unless you want to call accessible "press continually any of the buttons until a program "appears". I guess that is what I might call buyers remorse on my part- BUT spend 600 bucks for something that is really meant for you to continue to spend 50 bucks a month for, if you go to Proform it takes you to Ifit- no real answers there. would have been better off to bought a treadmill from Amazon imported from China- OHHHH OOPS it IS made in china.Would have taken it back BUT 200 pound box and a 68 year old man.. Did I tell you it had 20 preset workouts that there really isnt any way to get to???Thanks for a new clothes rack- should be able to hang a lot of clothes on..

QuestionI compared this Proform Caron TL treadmill to prior model PFTL59722. For this model, the deck is 2in smaller (used to be 20x55), and the motor is weaker at 2.25 chp (used to be 2.6 chp). Is this correct? Is the 2.25 chp motor strong enough to jog/run?

- Answer Jon You are correct, this current model has a smaller treadmill belt and has a motor with a smaller horsepower. With a 2.25 chp motor, you will still be able to jog and run. While a unit may be able to withstand a higher weight, if damage should occur on the treadmill, the warranty may be void because the usage did not align with recommendations.
