“How do you connect your phone to the Bluetooth to listen to music through the speaker? The instructions on connecting through ifit do not work for me. It seems unnecessarily complicated!”

Just go through bluetooth settings on your phone. The treadmill's manual was pretty accurate with the instructions. You do NOT need the iFit app

You can pair your phone to the console on this treadmill by pressing and holding the Bluetooth Audio button on the console for 3 seconds. A tone will sound and the Bluetooth button will flash when it is in pairing mode. From there, you can use your device to select your console and pair to the unit.
