“I was reading a review on another treadmill and they stated that they treadmill did not work unless there was internet. I am wondering if this one is like that or if it will also work manually since my internet is always going out on me. Thank you!”

To use the iFit features you will need a reliable Internet connection. There is a manual mode as well where you can control your own workouts that doesn't require a connection. You will also need to be connected for updates, bug fixes etc.
