• The water tank can be filled all the way up as there is not exactly a max fill line.

• The unit can be filled entirely until water touches the bottom of the removable lid area

• I don't see a max fill line on my unit either so I have tested a few different levels. I've filled it just under the top, allowing for the lid to fit nicely, and that works too so that's what I use.
