“Does the timer HAVE to be used, or can you just let it run until the water is all gone?”

• You can choose to run it on the timer or simply turn it on and let it run until the water runs out. Also, when the water does run out, a light turns red to alert of you this and it turns itself off. But no you do not have to run it on the timer; the timer is optional

• The timer setting is optional. There is a separate power button and one can turn the power on and not use the timer function.
