“I have a Yamaha RX-770 receiver with a phono input capability. Do I need a Pre-amp when using an Audio Technica ATLP140PBK turntable to connect to my Yamaha? I am looking to use an AT85EP cartridge as well.”

The ATLP140PBK seems to have a high output that it will not require a pre amp. But please confirm this with the Audio Technica support to be sure.
