Quell is contraindicated if you have a cardiac pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or other implanted metallic or electronic device. However, there are no known safety issues and we do have many users with passive orthopedic implants who have had success with Quell. We suggest that you discuss Quell with your doctor to see if it makes sense for you.
