Save a full backup of 2018 and open/restore that in 2020. I didn't have any issues. Remember you cannot convert back to a previous version so make sure you have a backup that can restore to the 2018 version just in case.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure what you mean by download issues. If you mean a problem downloading 2020 over 2018, no. However, never download anything like this until you have a fresh backup on an external device such as a flash drive, DVD, external hard drive, etc. incase something glitches in the process. As long as you don't have any computer problems, all of your information will be right there, after the download is done and you sign it to QB's. If you are buying this one to use the payroll subscription that comes with it, you will have to call them so they can change the Service Key on their end and make sure they don't automatically charge you for the payroll from the other payroll on top of the new one.
