• A:Answer Yes, but you can only redeem the activation code in the retail copy to extend your subscription in the last six months of your current subscription term. Note: Activation codes expire 24 months after being generated. NOTE: Make sure the retail copy is not marked for New Subscribers. If it is you can't use it to extend an existing subscription.

Q: QuestionIf you have Quicken Deluxe currently installed can you convert it to Quicken Classic with any issues of loosing data. I only use Quicken as a check register for a few checking accounts.

• A:Answer Yes it will update your Quicken deluxe to Quicken Classic Deluxe. Same program new name. I have been using Quicken since version 1. It does so much more than what your using it for

Q: QuestionAm I able to write personal checks and record them on a spreadsheet? Can I print reports about my checking account?

• A:Answer You don't need to record your checks in a spreadsheet, you record them directly into the software. You can do this for multiple accounts, no problem. We even treat our credit card accounts like a checking account, in terms of entry, by entering each one as a transaction and then reconciling every month. But you can, if you like, export the check entries to a spreadsheet format. But you won't want to, once you start using the software.
