QuestionHow long do I have before I have to activate the program? My current subscription does not end until late April

- Answer You're out of luck adding this on to your new subscription. I've just been through this with the New Subscription Only version of Quicken Deluxe. I had to use a different email address, go through a bunch of hoops to change my current software to use the new subscription, with the help of Quicken support, then more hoops to connect my accounts to online updates. It wasn't worth it. In the end I was told that Quicken will price match subscription if you contact them and provide proof.

- Answer If you haven't purchased the New Subscription Only version of Quicken, DO NOT DO IT!!! If you have already purchased it, you're in for a rollercoaster ride to get it working.

QuestionWhat happens at the end of the one year? Can I continue to use the software as a manual input for my finances? Or, does it just quit working?

- Answer I'm assuming that since this is a subscription, you will need to renew the subscription to continue to use the software. Many software makers are moving to the subscription platform because they have a steady income stream and eliminate much of the manufacturing cost of CD's and manuals for those that renew automatically through the software. I have always been able to find a renewal option online at a cheaper rate than offered by Intuit that makes Quicken.

QuestionUsing Quicken deluxe for over 20 years. 2023- Quicken cannot make payments to a payee. Quicken support cannot correct the issue- only suggests I cancel (software will not allow) the payment and issue a new payment to the same payee. Support sucks.
