“Can you set up the moisture sensors to cause only the zones to open valves that need water and leave the other zones closed unless their moisture sensors request that their valaves be opened. All valve controls through the z-wave hub????”

Pinesprings, great question. We do not support it a standard feature, but you might be able to build a custom integration using our open API to accomplish this. I'd recommend reaching out to our community (http://community.rachio.com/) to learn more about integrations other users have designed & setup.
