I think someone online found that this is a switch issue and they found a round about way to access using the mic while playing online with others on the switch. Happy hunting, I hope you find the link or video that shows the work around.

Please try again later.I'm facing the same issue with the mic, the headset came defective out of the box, seems to be a problem with this model as I also found other people with the same problem over internet. I bought two headsets and both have the same issue not just with switch but also with other devices where the mic does not pick audio properly even when I have it close to my mouth. I'm now dealing with the razer support which is very incompetent, hope your case is solved faster than mine
