Please try again later.I bought these headphones partially because I wanted to use them on two computers, one with combined headphone and audio jacks and one with separate jacks. Now I can use it on USB ports on both computers and it works fine. (I did have issues with one of the USB ports on one of the computers and just had to use a different port) So yes, it's combined microphone and headphone 3.5 cable plugs into the USB sound card and you can just plug it into a USB port without a splitter.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.All the USB sound card has on it is a female hole for the 3.5mm plug on the headset and a male USB plug to plug into a PC, so no it will not replace a splitter into an audio in and audio out cable.
