Yes. You can detach the wrist rest. IT is magnetic

yes it is detachable it attaches using magnets and you can easily remove it if you don't like it. Although I will say it is much more comfortable compared to other wrist wrests I have experienced.

It actually isn't, it's built into the keyboard but super comfortable to use.
