A:AnswerHaving both used the best buy model of the Gs65 and the new razer blade directly from razer (the 144hz 1070 version) I can say that for some reason the battery life is really poor on the new blade. I can barely squeeze 3.5 hours doing light tasks with the screen reduced to 60 hz in synapse. I was able to get 5-6 hours from the GS65 while leaving the screen at it's full refresh rate. The GS65, while not having quite as good of build quality is 600 dollars cheaper for the same spec model from razer. I will be returning my blade due to core temps exceeding 95 degrees Celsius and the battery life issue. Shame because the 2017 14" version could last 8 hours on a charge.
A:AnswerNo it doesn't come with Ethernet port, but the wirless technology built inside , couldn't notice a difference, then again to absolutely test that, would maybe consider, a usb/ethernetport converter or thunderbolt hub, to connect Ethernet directly.
A:AnswerThis is a 2018 model. Biggest difference i have seen is the availability of two hard drives, 2000 series rtx graphics and the availability of a 4k OLED display in the 2019 model. A basic lower cost version is also available for 2019.
A:AnswerDepends if anyone has redeemed the SN already, I would assume. I bought an open box one to test and the SN was still available to be redeemed but if the previous owner already did it, you probably won't be able to.
