Having both used the best buy model of the Gs65 and the new razer blade directly from razer (the 144hz 1070 version) I can say that for some reason the battery life is really poor on the new blade. I can barely squeeze 3.5 hours doing light tasks with the screen reduced to 60 hz in synapse. I was able to get 5-6 hours from the GS65 while leaving the screen at it's full refresh rate. The GS65, while not having quite as good of build quality is 600 dollars cheaper for the same spec model from razer. I will be returning my blade due to core temps exceeding 95 degrees Celsius and the battery life issue. Shame because the 2017 14" version could last 8 hours on a charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm getting about 4-5 hours on normal use, just web surfing and fooling around. You can get more if you fool around with settings. But out of the box about 4-5hours.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.using my laptop on battery I get abour 5-6+ hours of web browsing, youtubing, and even some photo editing on lightroom, for a gaming laptop that is pretty nice! you can even under volt using XTU to help with battery life as well! I usually keep it on battery saver when on battery.
