• Yes --- wouldn't put weight on it if it is on a soft surface, but mouse movement is good.

• It’s a pretty durable mousepad. Even though this is the only mousepad I’ve ever owned, it’s one of the best computer related investments I’ve ever made. There’s also a lot of surface for this mousepad. Definitely worth getting in my opinion
