It uses Synapse 2.0 for that setting so if you have that available on Mac it would work exactly the same as in windows.

Personally, I play music over my home stereo system, using Bose BT connection (best bang for your buck because it comes with further range, stereo output and connection wires included:fiber and others...I use fiber) , while using headset or speaker for anything else on the PC; using windows media to use stereo as source or right clicking as batch and streaming it directly to the stereo system.
