• Initially they had a laser sensor, then were refreshed with an optical sensor. Optical FTW.

• It is a laser one, simple answer, laser is the best sensor ever made.

• Laser is the old version they had. They just updated it with better battery and added a optical sensor in it around may. Optical has better tracking for comp games. So this newer one is the better one.

• Ive done a lot of research on this and optical is more precise in games so optical is better. Also i have no idea why there is a laser and optical version.
