you can "program" those buttons to keyboard shortcuts and/or any other mouse functions to any of the buttons. You can have essentially have double the functions with the use of the "hyperspeed" function. Essentially, like an "FN" button on your keyboard. I thought that "hyperspeed" was something to make the mouse have better DPI, it's not. LOL. You can also have those buttons change and be used according on what program/game you are running. You can also have a different "profiles" to have much more settings to any of those buttons as well, including the left click button.
