At razer's event they said there was Verizon partnership. Yet here it says it's not compatible. What gives? null

It's compatible. Says so on their website. Gsm and Verizon LTE.

Please go check at Razer dot com and find Razer 2 phone. You need to click at "Buy Now". You will see the description. They said, "The Razer phone will work with both GSM and Verizon LTE networks".

It's compatible. I set mine up at home and talked on it from day one. There was an issue with receiving text messages but I took it to the Verizon store and the reset my text messaging account and within seconds all my text messages came rolling in. Unlocked phones can initially have some hiccups but Verizon fixed mine quickly.

Unlocked phones are usually blocked from being used on Verizon. With a partnership there will be a Verizon specific version available. The reason behind this is because Verizon

in "Specification" clearly says that its GSM. its not compatible with Verizon
