yes indeed it can and does - however, I do find myself once per day connecting a DP cable for my work only laptop. as that's the only available output atm. With my personal laptop, I plug in networking hardwired direct even though the nic on the Razer hub is fine. My settup on the non work side is a bit better , so thats why I switch physical cabling. But overall, this razer hub rocks!
