“I just bought this remote for use on a samsung UN40KU6300F Tv, is there a button that functions as the back/return button? The exit button just closes the app. Also the Home/Guide button does not bring up the app menu.”

If you go to the little circle of buttons in the middle (surrounds the purple one) & press menu, it will take you to a bunch of stuff you can program using the purple arrows. Might work.
