Yes, mine works great along with my DirecTV cable box. I get some local channels, especially Fox Channel that's been recently blocked...it works good, set up by my TV in the middle of the room. It has it's own short coaxial cable that screwed directly into the back of my TV w/o having to change or unscrew my cable box.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I access my local channels with this antenna
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. That’s how I use it. You do have to switch between live tv and “other” box on the remote. Is it a hassle? Yes I can be. But not that bad.

The antenna will need to connect directly to the screw-type F-connector on the rear of your TV. If your cable box is already connected to that connector, you may need to utilize an A/B switcher or another connection method (typically HDMI) that is not being used on your TV & cable box.
