Yes you can purchase the antenna to receive the station you're missing. We had the same problem with our station being out. Not only do you receive local stations there are approximately 40 stations that can be picked up by the antenna. Best Buy also has a map for you to purchase the appropriate antenna for your area. There is a mileage area map showing the nearest tower.
