“Is Best Buy an authorized dealer? I noticed on the Rode web site Fulfilled By Amazon is not and there is no support provided by Rode. It is easy to buy from Best Buy however if support is not provided by Rode then I will have to think about purchasing.”

If Best But sells the product in store then they are a dealer. The problem with Amazon is that you have people buy and resale and sometimes the products are international and if that is the case no warranty. Amazon does have distributors that are authorized sellers. You have to check before you buy. By the way I'm not affiliated with either company, just a customer of both that buys a lot of electronics.
