A:AnswerIf Best But sells the product in store then they are a dealer. The problem with Amazon is that you have people buy and resale and sometimes the products are international and if that is the case no warranty. Amazon does have distributors that are authorized sellers. You have to check before you buy. By the way I'm not affiliated with either company, just a customer of both that buys a lot of electronics.
A:AnswerI believe it does. There are no contacts under the microphone, just a plastic but sturdy attachments that attaches to any Canon hot show. And since there are no contacts on the mic, I'm pretty sure it works with Nikon too. Make sure you buy the $30.00 Dead Cat to cover the rear of the mic, it is where the wind hits it creating the same noise you hear from the camera microphone. In terms of sound quality, it is pretty awesome, I use it without the foam that comes inside the dead cat. I didn't return it, so am happy with it.
A:AnswerYes, I believe so. Anything with an 1/8th inch input should be compatible... although it doesn't look like the mic will clip on; you may need to build a makeshift mic stand for it.
A:AnswerI don't think so. I don't own that camera, but it hooks in via a 1/8th inch standard input...based on the pictures of that camera online, it doesn't look like it has a 1/8th inch jack...
A:AnswerTry covering the rear connection cable with a Dead Cat fur cover, it needs to cover the whole microphone and the cable connection. I also removed the Rode foam cover that came with the mic and inserted it inside the dead cat without it and works really good, the noise is pretty much gone.
