• Check to see if the mic will work with your phone I have an iPhone 12 and it is not compatible with the mic. If a power cable will work with your case the mic will probably work if the phone is compatible.

• I assume it depends on the case, but I have tried a few different ones and I have had no luck. I have to remove the phone from the case every time I want to record.
